Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data Agence Web Performance processes when you visit generateperf.com, buy or use GeneratePerf, and how you can exercise your rights.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Eroan Boyer, EIRL trading as Agence Web Performance, 145C Chemin du Fournas, 06220 Vallauris, France (RCS 504 297 912). You can reach us through the contact form.

What we collect and why

Your account and your purchases

• Your name, e-mail address and password (stored hashed) to create and secure your customer account;
• Your plan, license key, subscription status and renewal dates to provide the license;
• Billing details (name, address, VAT number) and payment, processed by Stripe: we never see or store your card number.

Legal basis: performance of the contract, and our legal obligations for invoicing and accounting.

Sites using GeneratePerf

When a site checks for updates, it sends our update server its address, the installed GeneratePerf version, the license key entered and its WordPress environment type (production, staging, development). We keep the address, the version, the date of the last check and the last four characters of the key, to deliver updates to licensed sites and to show you your sites in your account. Staging and development sites are not recorded.

Legal basis: performance of the contract and our legitimate interest in protecting the plugin against unlicensed use.

Contact and support requests

The data you enter in our forms (name, e-mail, website, site concerned, message) is used to answer you. Legal basis: your request, and the contract for customers.

Browsing this site

This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work, such as the login cookies of the customer account. It does not use advertising or third-party audience measurement cookies.

Who receives your data

• Our team, only as needed for the purposes above;
• Stripe, for payment, invoicing and tax calculation (Stripe privacy policy);
• ONETSOLUTIONS, our host in France, and Brevo, our e-mail delivery service (France), as processors.

We never sell your data or share it for third-party marketing. Stripe may process data outside the European Union under the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• Account and license data: for the duration of the customer relationship, then 3 years;
• Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by French law;
• Contact and support requests: 3 years after the last exchange;
• Sites records: as long as the site uses GeneratePerf, then 3 years without contact.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its processing, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Write to us through the contact form; we answer within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Security

Our site is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, downloads are available only through signed, time-limited links, and access to our tools is restricted to our team.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version; for important changes we will inform customers by e-mail.
